WHEREAS, the city council adopted Resolution No. 22081, December 11, 1941, establishing the Housing Authority of Portland according to Oregon Revised Statutes 456.095 through 456.720; andWHEREAS, Commission members must be appointed by Resolution directed by ORS 456.095(2) and ORS 456.100 (4); andWHEREAS, Home Forward and the Mayor of Portland have recommended Thomas Kemper and Brian Harvey for appointment to the Home Forward Board of Commissioners; andWHEREAS, the two candidates' biographies and statements of interest are attached as Exhibit A.NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council for the City of Portland, Oregon appoints Thomas Kemper and Brian Harvey to the Home Forward Board of Commissioners for terms to expire October 27, 2030.
